Ruth Brown

Ruth Brown, a well known shuffleboard player in Florida, likely one of the best known woman players has left us.Ruth suffered a heart problem and was hospitalised in Winter Haven Florida. After a week in hospital Ruth surrounded by her family passed away. Our  thoughts and prayers go out to her husband Larry and the Brown Family.

Ruth and her husband Larry came to Canada several years ago, while traveling  with their good friends Bill and Lorraine Pollock, Max and Ruth Tate and Stan and Lois Mc Cormack. They left lasting memories with the Ontario Shuffleboard  Fraternity. Ruth was well known to most Canadian Shuffleboard Players who compete in tournaments in Florida.

Ruth Brown was an American who was respected by all Canadians who knew her.May she rest in peace.

A wonderful woman indeed and so sad to hear she has gone to be with our Lord. My heart also goes out to Larry who must be devastated.
