My name is Roy Packard. I am interested in entering the games coming up in Dieppe in August, 2011. I have never entered this tournament before and do not know what is necessary to qualify to play. do you have to be a Pro? Do you have to have medal standing in local and state games? I would appreciate any information you could pass along.

    Thank you.

Rosemary – the Links page of theshufflersnews has a number of very useful references for you – I would recommend the US National S. A. and the ISA (World Shuffleboard). Please note that in order to play in an ISA event, players are usually slelected by their national organization, in your case the US National S. A. August 6 2012 will be the start of the ISA Team Event in Seattle. As well, you would be most welcome to visit Canada in 2012 to play in the Canadian CNSA Doubles in (you will need a partner but we can find one for you if you would like us to), or any other tournament listed on the CNSA website or OSA website – No prequalification necessary! And I’m sure you would enjoy a trip to the Canadian West, to play in a tournament in the Alberta area – see the CNSA website for more details to be posted later.
If you have anymore questions, please let us know and we will be happy respond. – Bill Boyes.
